JAPANESE SPIRITUAL PRACTICES,
MYSTICISM & HEALING

This section will focus on diverse Spiritual practices from:
Japanese Buddhism, Shintoism, Reiryoku no Michi, Shugendo: the Way of the Yamabushi
, Sangaku Shinko, practices of the Senin, etc

Initially, I had included several self-developmental meditation / breathing practices from these traditions alongside the 'Japanese Reiki Techniques' in the Reiki Dojo section of the Reiki Pages.

However I felt there is already enough confusion concerning which practices constitute 'original Reiki techniques', so I felt it better to separate out these non-Reiki practices and give them a 'home of their own'.

Likewise, I have separated out all the non-Reiki terminology from the Japanese Glossary in the Reiki Pages section and have combined them with many others to create a new Glossary of
Japanese Terms in the Spiritual / Healing Arts (other than Reiki)

As some of the concepts and practices previously included in the 'Tenchi Seiki Teate' section of the site are also common to a number of other Japanese therapeutic disciplines, have decided to dis-assembled that section, and am gradually reformatting its contents include in this current section.

To help identify modifications to existing items in this section, and also new additions to the Reiki Pages:

the letter 'U' in front of a link indicates a recent update

the letter 'N' in front of a link indicates a new item
