TAKATA-SENSEI VISITS EUROPE
- and other news snippets
Here's an interesting news item I discovered. [February 2013]
It's from the
"BURLINGTON HAWK EYE"
(Iowa's oldest daily newspaper)
- edition dated Wednesday, July 5th, 1972:

“Dr.
and Mrs. Kiyoshi Furumoto, Emily, Elizabeth and Christopher have left
for a
two-week tour of three European cities. They will visit London,
Paris and Amsterdam.
The Furumotos were accompanied by Mrs. Hawayo
Takata of Honolulu, Hawaii.”
"Mrs. Furumoto" is of course
Alice, Takata-sensei's daughter.
[KEOSAUQUA
is
a city in Van Buren County, Iowa ]
