THE HAWAII HOCHI

The Hawaii Hochi (i.e. 'Hawaii News'), a
Japanese-language newspaper, was founded in 1912 by Frederick
Kinzaburo Makino to serve - and reflect the viewpoint of - Hawaii's
Japanese immigrant community.
